Siemens Mobility Spain has become the first organization worldwide to obtain the maturity level 5 ISO/IEC 33000 - ISO/IEC 12207 certificate for their software development lifecycle processes.

Maturity level 5 indicates that the organization carries out the continuous innovation of their processes based on quantitative process analysis and technology monitoring aligned to the mission and objectives of the organization.

The certificate was issued by AENOR, and was carried out using AENOR's MMIS v.2 model as a basis. The team that carried out the audit was made up of AQCLab staff, who collaborated with AENOR in the definition of the MMIS v.2 model.
