AQCLab has renewed and extended the scope of its accreditation for software quality evaluation tests in conformance with ISO/IEC 25000, including the characteristics Maintainability, Functional Suitability and Data Quality.
Accreditation conforming to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard confirms the technical competence of the laboratory and ensures reliability in the results of the tests performed. To do so, the accreditation body ENAC performs a thorough evaluation of all the factors that contributing to laboratories obtaining reliable results: qualification of personnel, appropriate and validated methods and procedures, adequacy of equipment and infrastructure, technics for quality evaluation of the results, etc.
Based on the results of the evaluations carried out by AQCLab, our customers can obtain a software product quality certification in conformance with ISO/IEC 25000, issued by AENOR.

AQCLab collaborates in the organization of the 21st International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ), which will take place in Ciudad Real on the 22nd y 23rd of June, 2016.

The product Mediciones Certificadas 1.0 developed by Trecone (Treconite), and evaluated by AQCLab, has been granted the ISO/IEC 25000 certificate for the characteristic Functional Suitability, after succesfully passing the conformity audit carried out by AENOR.
Thanks to the Functional Suitability certification, Trecone is improving the satisfaction of their clients by ensuring that the product Mediciones Certificadas 1.0 completely meets its functional requirements specification.

AENOR has granted the first certificate of conformance with ISO/IEC 25000 for Functional Suitability to the product BitRRHH 1.0, developed by Bitware, reaching the highest quality level (5) possible in the evaluation carried out by the accredited laboratory AQCLab.
To grant the certification, AENOR collaborates wieth AQCLab, first accredited laboratory in Spain by ENAC (Spanish accreditation body) for software product quality evaluation tests, one of which is Functional Suitability evaluation.
